The Department of Finance within the School of Business is seeking qualified applicants with broad expertise in the fields of Insurance, Risk Management, and Financial Planning. The School of Business is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
The faculty is expected to teach in the School's graduate and undergraduate programs, conduct scholarly research in his/her discipline as well as providing services to the University community.
RMU offers faculty members an environment where teaching, research and service are supported and valued. Salaries are market competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. Anticipated start date is Fall, 2019 and dependent upon final budgetary approval.

Candidates should have an earned Ph.D. in Risk Management, Insurance, Finance or a closely related field from an AACSB accredited institution. Candidates who are ABD may also be considered. Certified Financial Planner or other professional certifications and prior experience in the risk management, financial planning and/or insurance profession is preferred. The preferred candidate will have teaching and research experience focused on Estate Planning, Retirement Planning, Financial Planning, Insurance and Risk Management. Applicants must demonstrate excellence in teaching as well as productivity in research in their discipline. The successful candidate must be qualified as a scholarly academic.
