Overview:
The Department of Social Sciences within the School of Education and Social Sciences is seeking a clinical or counseling psychologist with a strong interest in graduate and undergraduate education and a promising research agenda.
Responsibilities:
The faculty is expected to teach in the School's graduate and undergraduate programs, conduct scholarly research, and provide service to the University community.

Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates should have a terminal degree in Psychology with a preference for a Ph.D. or PsyD from the American Psychological Association (APA) or the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP) accredited graduate program. Successful candidates will demonstrate teaching excellence and have a proven track record of research. Counseling experience and eligibility for licensure in Pennsylvania as a psychologist or counselor is required. The successful candidate should be able to teach graduate counseling psychology courses within the Masters in Counseling Psychology program as well as coursework at the undergraduate level. The Social Sciences Department, housed in the School of Education and Social Sciences, offers a graduate degree program in Counseling Psychology and undergraduate degree programs in Criminal Justice, Economics, History, Political Science, Psychology, Social Sciences (including Social Studies Education), and Sociology. The undergraduate psychology program offers specialty concentrations in clinical psychology, sport psychology, clinical-sport psychology, and industrial-organizational psychology and the department teaches social science courses as part of the Robert Morris University core curriculum. The department fosters collegiality and values collaboration.
