Teacher Certification and Field Placement Specialist Education Moon Campus
Reporting to the Department Head of Education, the Certification and Field Placement Specialist supports the teacher preparation process from candidacy through certification. The Certification and Field Placement Specialist works collaboratively with students, school districts, and university personnel to ensure cooperative and timely placement. This role also involves managing student clearances, student teaching processes, certification data systems, and accreditation and assessment data. This 10-month position is a student facing position requiring a physical presence on campus.
Women's Hockey Operations Coordinator Women's Ice Hockey Moon Campus
Responsible for the management of all equipment and apparel purchases and game set-up for the women’s hockey program. Works with vendors, coaches and students. Maintains athletic equipment, including repair and upkeep within the guidelines, rules and regulations of Robert Morris University and the NCAA. This position requires responsibilities with team travel which may include hotel, buses, airplane and team meal reservations. This position may also include duties with video editing and video editing systems (such as XOS). Duties will be expanded as required and will be adjusted based on incumbent’s strengths and weaknesses.
Academic Advisor Center For Student Success Moon Campus
As a member of the Center for Student Success team, this student-centered position supports undergraduate recruitment and retention across programs in the assigned areas. Primary responsibilities include academic advising, participating in recruitment initiatives and activities, and serving as a point of contact for undergraduate students within specific departments and programs. Work is performed under the supervision of the Director of the Center for Student Success and includes collaboration with Academic Department Heads and/or other program personnel. This position is a full-time, in-person position during the academic year and may include occasional evening and weekend hours obligations. Flexibility for a hybrid work schedule during other times of the year may be available.
Area Coordinator Office of Residence Life Moon Campus
Under supervision from the Director of the Office of Residence Life, The Area Coordinators for the Office of Residence Life are responsible for providing leadership and guidance to the Residence Life Program. The position will take leadership and management responsibility for staff development and residential education. The Area Coordinator provides ongoing supervision to para-professional staff in management of an assigned residential community. Additionally, this position assists the Director in the daily management of the overall Residence Life program. This is a live-in, on-campus twelve (12) month, full-time position.

This position is primarily responsible for coordinating and executing the daily operations of the Counseling Center, while also overseeing administrative support functions across the Campus Wellness unit. Graduate Peer Tutor Center For Student Success Moon Campus
Graduate Peer Tutors - Assist students at RMU in those courses where they might be having difficulty. Peer tutors work with students both one-on-one and in small groups in the Tutoring Center in the Center for Student Success, providing assistance in understanding course materials and homework assignments, while maintaining academic integrity as well as, when appropriate, study skills and time-management skills. Peer Tutors will be open to in-person and drop-in appointments with tutees during their shifts.

HVAC Lead Supervisor Facilities Maintenance Moon Campus
This position performs work with a high degree of initiative and independent judgment. This position will oversee, and/or perform all work on university HVAC systems including the Island Sports Center. Primary expertise will be in troubleshooting various types of HVAC related equipment, performing and/or directing other employees on preventative maintenance, repairs and new installations. Will act as lead on all Robert Morris University HVAC installations and preventative maintenance plans. Will act as lead on all boiler preventative maintenance and will direct and/or perform all necessary repairs to hot water boilers. Will work with outside vendors on any HVAC related repairs, including building automation vendors. This position ensures that all HVAC systems are properly maintained and in proper operating condition for all Robert Morris University properties. Maintenance coverage is 24/7 – 365 days/year and overtime may be necessary to accomplish work assignments and/or shift coverage. Vacations (PTO) approval may be limited during peak activity periods. This position may be required to work as scheduled during university closings.

Reporting to the Campus Recreation leadership team, the Head Coach for Club Basketball will oversee all aspects of the University’s competitive club basketball program, including planning and conducting practices, game strategy, player development, recruitment, budget management, travel coordination, academic monitoring, compliance, and supervision of team support staff. The Head Coach is responsible for fostering a positive and inclusive team culture, supporting student-athlete well-being and academic success, and implementing disciplinary measures when necessary. The Head Coach will play a vital role in developing content and promotional strategies that elevate the team brand and enhance visibility across campus and beyond. This role includes collaboration with Campus Recreation administrators to plan home events, away contests, and ensure compliance with RMU Club Sports policies and NCBBA league requirements. Candidates must have demonstrated experience in coaching or playing at the high school or collegiate level, as well as a strong understanding of player development, team management, and athlete recruitment. Familiarity with the college athletic recruitment process, including player evaluation and outreach, is essential. This position requires availability for all scheduled practices and competitions, including nights and weekends, and may involve occasional travel to off-campus games. OBJECTIVE: The purpose of this internship is to develop an understanding of how the intercollegiate athletic programs operate. This position gives the student a chance to learn team operations from the ground up, learning all facets and gaining insight of how to successfully operate a program. Students will work daily with coaches, athletes and administrative staff and will develop working relations and learn how to interact on a professional basis within the parameters of the department. This is an ideal position for the student, of any major, who have a desire to work in intercollegiate athletics upon graduation. Students will be able to apply knowledge learned in the classroom, to everyday aspects of the position. This position will also give the student an opportunity to work with Department administrators as needed.
