Part-Time Faculty - Health Services Administration

Overview:
Part-time faculty to teach undergraduate human resource course on-ground. HSAM 4820: Human Resource Management in Health Administration (3 credits) will give students exposure to some of the more formal aspects of the manager’s task such as recruitment and retention, interviewing prospective employees, providing ongoing performance reviews, employee performance assessment and feedback, employee termination, employment law and its ramifications, working with labor unions, and compensation.
Responsibilities:
The successful applicant will instruct an undergraduate section of HSAM 4820 Human Resource Management in Health Administration Fall Term, Second 8 weeks (starting mid-October) Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Evaluate student learning through assessments, exams, discussions and/or other methods. Will maintain attendance records.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's Degree is required. Candidates with collegiate teaching experience is preferred.
