Arts and Humanities Media Outreach Coordinator

Position Type: Staff Part-Time
Working in conjunction with the Department Chair of Arts and Humanities, this position serves the community outreach needs of the department and also works to create awareness through new and inventive programs and approach. In planning events and outreach, it will require unique hours of communication and correspondence - some remote and some on campus. This is a part-time, not benefit eligible position limited to 950 hours per calendar year and generally no more than 29 hours weekly on a regular basis. It is expected this role will work 15 hours per week.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree required.
  • Experience and understanding of digital media production, particularly film and/or television, and creating personal and professional connections in the effort to advance academic goals, enhance student and community engagement, and raise program awareness throughout the region is required.
  • High level interpersonal and organization skills are a must as this position works in a community facing capacity for most of the outreach.
