OPPORTUNITY The Rooney International Visiting Scholar Program offers international scholars the opportunity to spend a semester in residence at Robert Morris University pursuing research, and/ or teaching while interacting with faculty, staff, and students. The Rooney Scholars live on campus in the Rooney House and become part of the campus community. Travel expenses will be provided and well as an automobile for the Scholar’s use (valid driver’s license required). A salary is provided. RMU is currently accepting applications for the Academic Year 2022-23, for Spring 2023 (approximately, January 9-April 28, 2023). Priority Consideration will be given to applications received by: November 15, 2022 for Spring 2023 residence.

Faculty needed to teach ARTM1015 - Digital Foundations: This course introduces students to fundamental intersections of art, design and technology. In a studio environment, which includes lecture, discussion and critique, students will explore several methods and techniques of digital production and distribution to create 2D and 3D artifacts that are informed by the principles of art and design. Students will employ and manipulate analog as well as digital source materials and processes to better understand how media can move seamlessly from one form to another and produce successful solutions to design problems.
