Student Information Support Specialist

Position Type: Staff Part-Time
Reporting to the Registrar, this part-time position will oversee the development and implementation of the Student Education Planner and the Transfer Equivalencies. This position is integral related to encoding Degree Works (degree audit system) and Transfer Equivalency (transfer articulation tool) to reflect changes in the university curriculum and transfer articulation agreements. This position provides support in student planners, transfer equivalencies and curriculum in the Registrar's Office. This is a part-time, not benefit eligible position limited to 950 per calendar year and no more than 29 hours per week on a regular basis.
  • Develop and maintain Degree Works Student Education Planners (SEP) for all programs
  • Collaborate with Registrar's Office colleagues on Banner to enhance the utility of the SEP
  • Develop and implement Transfer Equivalency module within Banner for undergraduate programs
  • Update and maintain transfer course equivalencies in Banner
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree is required
  • Experience working in higher education is preferred
  • Experience working in Banner is preferred
  • Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to learn specific software
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong computer skills
