Conference Sales Manager UPMC Events Center Moon Campus
Robert Morris University (RMU) is transitioning to an in-house management model for the UPMC Events Center and is seeking an experienced, driven Sales Manager. This role is vital to our mission of establishing the entire UPMC Events Center—including the arena and conference spaces—as a premier destination for corporate, private, university, and large-scale entertainment events. Reporting directly to the UPMC Events Center General Manager, the Sales Manager will lead an aggressive sales program to maximize the utilization of our state-of-the-art facilities. Facility Overview Opened in May 2019, the 161,000 square foot UPMC Events Center is the proud home of RMU Colonial Men’s and Women’s Basketball and Women’s Volleyball. The venue features: • A 4,000+ seat arena for large-scale events, concerts, and athletic competitions. • The 11,000 sq. ft. Marketing Manager UPMC Events Center Moon Campus
Robert Morris University (RMU) is transitioning to an in-house management model for the UPMC Events Center and is seeking a dynamic and strategic Marketing Manager. This role is central to driving revenue, enhancing brand awareness, and managing the public image of our premier multi-purpose facility. Reporting directly to the UPMC Events Center General Manager, the Marketing Manager will lead the marketing department in developing creative campaigns that promote the venue and its diverse calendar of events to the campus and the broader community. Facility Overview The UPMC Events Center, which opened in May 2019, is a 161,000 square foot facility on the campus of Robert Morris University. It serves as the home for RMU Colonial Men’s and Women’s Basketball and Women’s Volleyball, while also hosting concerts, commencement, conferences, featured speakers, and banquets. Events Director UPMC Events Center Moon Campus
Robert Morris University (RMU) is transitioning the management of the UPMC Events Center to an in-house model and is seeking a highly experienced Director of Event Operations. This role is central to the RMU campus community, overseeing the 161,000 square foot multi-purpose facility that serves as the home for Colonial Men’s and Women’s Basketball and Women’s Volleyball. Facility Overview The UPMC Events Center, which opened in May 2019, is a 161,000 square foot facility on the campus of Robert Morris University. It serves as the home for RMU Colonial Men’s and Women’s Basketball and Women’s Volleyball, while also hosting concerts, commencement, conferences, featured speakers, and banquets. The venue features a 4,000+ seat arena and the 11,000 sq. ft. UPMC Health Plan Conference Center. Position Summary The Director of Event Operations reports directly to the UPMC Events Center General Manager. This individual is responsible for the comprehensive management, supervision, and coordination of daily facility operations, including event management, conversions, and custodial services. The Director will provide administrative leadership and policy direction to ensure the highest quality of service for Robert Morris Athletics, university tenants, and external stakeholders.
Head Coach, Women's D2 Club Ice Hockey Campus Recreation Island Sports Center
The Head Coach, Women’s D2 Club Ice Hockey is a part-time position not eligible for University benefits. Work hours are limited to 950 per calendar year and less than 29 hours per week on a regular basis. The University is a proud member of the ACHA with successful hockey programs at the Men’s D1 and D3 levels. The team practices 2-3 times per week and plays games most weekends during the season. There are 3-5 travel weekends during the season which include Fridays.
Custodian Facilities Environmental Services Moon Campus
The position performs manual work in the custodial care of all university buildings and facilities, including residence halls. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Facilities Specialist II and/or Assistant Directors. Coverage is 24/7 – 365 days/year and overtime may be necessary to accomplish work assignments and/or shift coverage. Vacations (PTO) approval may be limited during peak activity periods. This position may be required to work as scheduled during university closings.
Student Financial Services Administrator, Part-time Student Financial Services Moon Campus
This position’s primary functions will include administration of the University’s corporate discount program, all 3rd party invoicing. Oversee email account for receipt of 3rd party authorizations and corporate discount forms. Answering questions, both in person and as a part of the phone queue, related to the student’s account. This is a part-time position, not benefit eligible and limited to no more than 950 hours annually and no more than 29 hours per week on a regular basis.
Rooney International Visiting Scholar Center for Global Engagement Moon Campus
OPPORTUNITY The Rooney International Visiting Scholar Program offers international scholars the opportunity to spend a semester in residence at Robert Morris University pursuing research, and/ or teaching while interacting with faculty, staff, and students. The Rooney Scholars live on campus in the Rooney House and become part of the campus community. Senior Accountant, Events and Assets Financial Accounting Moon Campus
This position is primarily responsible for the financial tracking of all events held at the UPMC Event Center. This may include customer invoicing, event expense tracking, and payment follow-up. This position is also responsible for creating fixed assets, managing the CIP accounts, and managing the capital project expenditures and budgeting, and completing the annual capital and depreciation budgets. This position will also assist the Accounting Manager with monthly close and reporting requirements.

Leadership Giving Officer University Advancement Moon Campus
The Leadership Giving Officer (LGO) serves as a front-line fundraiser responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding a portfolio of high-potential alumni and friends of the University. The LGO develops and executes strategic "moves management" plans to secure major commitments and planned gifts at the $10,000 level. The primary focus of this role is proactive fieldwork, requiring frequent face-to-face engagement (in-person and virtual) to build a robust philanthropic pipeline. Additionally, the LGO plays an active role in grant administration, managing the lifecycle of foundation and corporate grant opportunities—from proposal development and data gathering to reporting and compliance.
