Overview:
PT Faculty are needed to teach CSEN1020 Argument and Research and CSEN2030 Expository Writing in the Fall 2023 semester. Courses are writing-intensive and limited to 20 students per section with multiple sections available.
Responsibilities:
Teach courses in the Communication Skills Program that apply speaking and writing strategies to principles of logic, critical thinking, argumentation, and audience analysis necessary for students to create their own arguments as well as critique the arguments of others. Perform outcomes assessment activities for each course as agreed between faculty and the Department. Maintain accurate attendance records. Daytime courses normally meet on a three-day per week (MON-WED-FRI) or on a two-day per week (TUE-THU or MON-WED) schedule.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's Degree is required and a Master's degree or Ph.D. in Communication, English, or a related field preferred. Prior successful teaching experience is preferred. Strong writing skills required.
