Assistant Director, Esports and Innovative Programs Campus Recreation Moon Campus

Reporting to the Chief Wellness Officer, and integral to the Wellness Team leadership, the Assistant Director for Esports & Innovative Programs will lead all aspects of the University’s large and growing esports program, including, but not limited to, planning practices, game/event preparation, in-game coaching, recruiting, budgeting, scheduling, team travel, academic monitoring, fundraising, streaming, video production, marketing, player/team supervision, and hiring, training, and management of part-time staff. In addition, the Assistant Director will be responsible for leading and/or supporting the design and delivery of various creative programs aimed at expanding participation and increasing collaboration among departments within the Wellness Team and throughout the University. Candidates must have applicable experience in leading others, managing organized programs, and strong familiarity with a wide range of competitive gaming titles including but not limited to League of Legends, Overwatch, Rainbow Six, Rocket League, and Valorant. This position works on-site in the University’s Esports suite, and requires a mix of structured and flexible work hours, including some nights and weekends as necessitated by program activities. Occasional travel may be necessary to support off-campus competitions.

Operations Associate, Ice Operations, ISC Island Sports Center
This position is located at the RMU Island Sports Center (ISC). This duties of the position require manual labor and semi-skilled work in the care of the ISC. This position is considered essential and is required to report to work as scheduled during University closings. This is a part-time, non-benefit position limited to 950 hours per calendar year or generally no more than 29 hours per week.

Custodian Facilities Environmental Services Moon Campus
The position performs manual work in the custodial care of all university buildings and facilities, including residence halls. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Senior Manager of Environmental Services. Coverage is 24/7 – 365 days/year and overtime may be necessary to accomplish work assignments and/or shift coverage. Vacations (PTO) approval may be limited during peak activity periods. This position may be required to work as scheduled during university closings. Rate of Pay: $16.75/hour. All full-time employees, spouses, and dependent children are eligible for 100% paid tuition at RMU.
Rooney International Visiting Scholar Center for Global Engagement Moon Campus
OPPORTUNITY The Rooney International Visiting Scholar Program offers international scholars the opportunity to spend a semester in residence at Robert Morris University pursuing research, and/ or teaching while interacting with faculty, staff, and students. The Rooney Scholars live on campus in the Rooney House and become part of the campus community. Travel expenses will be provided and well as an automobile for the Scholar’s use (valid driver’s license required). A salary is provided. RMU is currently accepting applications for the Academic Year 2024-2025, for Fall 2024 (approximately, August 26, 2024 to December 13, 2024). Priority consideration will be given to applications received by: June 21, 2024 for Fall 2024 residence.
Assistant Coach, Strength and Conditioning, Part-Time Athletics Strength and Conditioning Moon Campus
Responsible for assisting the management and administration of the intercollegiate Strength and Conditioning program within the guidelines, rules, and regulations of Robert Morris University, the Horizon League, and the NCAA. This is a part-time, non benefit eligible position which is limited to a maximum of 950 hours per calendar year. Although an exempt position, hours must be tracked in the Time Management system.
Literacy Tutor, Structured Literacy Education Moon Campus
The Structured Literacy Tutor will work directly with children in grades K-12 that are referred to the Center for reading and/or writing tutoring. The Tutor will conduct screenings on all incoming students to determine instructional needs, plan developmentally appropriate instruction based on data, conduct progress monitoring, communicate with parents, and administer all post assessments with clients. The Tutor is responsible for all parent communication and preparation of materials associated with tutoring sessions. The Tutor will keep accurate and timely time sheets and attendance records. Frequent meetings with the Coordinator of the Center will be essential to ensure all students are being serviced properly. This position is partially funded by non-university funds. Position continuation is contingent upon grant renewal or procurement of additional funding sources. This is a part-time position not eligible for University benefits. Work hours are limited to 950 per calendar year and less than 29 hours per week on a regular basis.
Financial Analyst Financial Analysis Moon Campus
This position’s primary function is to complete financial analysis and decision support initiatives, as well as supporting the monthly financial close process. Responsibilities include budgeting and forecasting both revenues and expense, explaining processes and systems, profitability reporting and analysis, completing analysis and business cases related to new investments and initiatives. This role is expected to understand all University activity, identify issues and trends, communicate the same to management and recommend actions as appropriate.
Compliance and Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) Coordinator Athletics Administration Moon Campus
The Compliance and NIL Coordinator assists the Associate Athletic Director for Compliance in administering and monitoring RMU’s day-to-day compliance program. Position will be the primary coordinator, project manager and liaison between multiple Athletics and University offices/departments to manage athletics and institutional processes and policies, ensuring that information and tasks are completed accurately, documented appropriately, and on time. Coordinates the Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) program for the department of athletics.
Associate Athletic Director, Compliance Athletics Administration Moon Campus
The Associate Athletics Director for Compliance serves on the Athletics Cabinet, responsible for supporting the Vice President and Director of Athletics in implementing both day-to-day policies & processes related to NCAA, Conference and institutional rules compliance. This position will lead the departmental athletics compliance program by creating, maintaining and monitoring a compliant environment that results in clear institutional control of all athletic programs relative to Conference and NCAA legislation as required by NCAA Division I membership. Position is responsible for fostering a commitment to diversity and inclusiveness throughout all levels of the organization, including but not limited to, staffing and programming.
HVAC - Maintenance Worker IV Facilities Maintenance Moon Campus
This position performs work under the direction of department management but with a high degree of initiative and independent judgment. This is highly responsible work performing skilled tasks in building HVAC, and related controls systems. This position’s primary expertise will be in HVAC maintenance and building controls maintenance, installations, and design and will act as lead on all Robert Morris University HVAC projects and control system projects. This position ensures that all HVAC systems are properly maintained and are in proper operating condition. Assistant Coach, Men's D3 Club Ice Hockey Campus Recreation Island Sports Center
The Assistant Coach, Men’s D3 Club Ice Hockey is a part-time position not eligible for University benefits. Work hours are limited to 950 per calendar year and less than 29 hours per week on a regular basis. The University is a proud member of the ACHA with successful hockey programs at the Men’s D1 and D3 levels. The team practices 2-3 times per week and plays games most weekends during the season. There are 3-5 travel weekends during the season which include Fridays. Preference is for the coach to attend all practices and games.
