Overview:
Robert Morris University (RMU) is seeking qualified part-time instructors to teach general education courses for the upcoming academic year. These courses vary in duration, online/on ground, and student level; however, candidates are welcome to apply and indicate their specialization or previous teaching. We are looking for dedicated educators who can bring passion and expertise to our academic community. We seek an instructor with flexible scheduling, a deep commitment to student success, and the ability to work collaboratively in an academic environment. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, innovative, and dedicated to supporting student learning.
Responsibilities:
The selected instructor will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive course materials, conducting effective classroom instruction, and assessing student learning with constructive feedback. Additionally, the role involves participating in departmental meetings, engaging in professional development, and maintaining accurate student records.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will possess a Master's degree in Education or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to develop engaging curriculum for diverse student populations. Proficiency in educational technology and online teaching platforms is also required.
