Reporting to the Chief Wellness Officer and serving as a key member of the Campus Wellness leadership team, the Campus Ministry Association Coordinator provides administrative leadership, engages in interdisciplinary collaboration, and serves as a liaison and advocate for University-sponsored spiritual and faith-based activities. The Coordinator provides operational guidance and resource support to individuals and organizations, works closely with other ministry members and campus partners, and promotes the practice and importance of spiritual wellness within campus-wide efforts aimed at advancing the health and well-being of all students, faculty, and staff. Candidates must have applicable experience in leadership, teamwork, planning, and strong familiarity with the functions of religion, faith, or spirituality that support the holistic needs and interests of individuals and/or groups. This position works a limited schedule, and may be adjusted accordingly to throughout the year to meet programmatic and stakeholder needs.
 
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and manage compliance to University and Campus Ministry Association (CMA) policies.
 
- Schedule and chair monthly CMA member meetings.
 
- Serve as a liaison or representative of the CMA for the University to interest groups and individuals.
 
- Participate in recurring Campus Wellness staff meetings on behalf of the CMA; provide association updates, contribute to team discussions and planning efforts, and share pertinent information with CMA membership for awareness and continuity.
 
- Manage requests for spiritual and/or faith-based activity on campus; consult CMA membership for review and approval of requests when necessary.
 
- Facilitate reviews and/or interviews of new CMA membership applicants.
 
- Develop and track progress toward goals and objectives in partnership with CMA members and Campus Wellness staff.
 
- Assist with management of the CMA’s budget including purchases, reconciliations, and annual planning.
 
- Engage in planning, participation, or promotion of CMA-sponsored programs, Campus Wellness collaborations, and signature University events.
 
- Serve as a point of contact for any relevant student or employee inquiries and concerns; provide appropriate assistance and involve other CMA members or University personnel as needed.
 
- Support University leadership’s crisis response efforts during or after campus emergencies and traumatic events.
 
- Entertain prayer requests and provide ministry when applicable; connect individuals and/or groups to other campus resources and partners as needed.
 
- Other duties as assigned.
 
 
 
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree preferred.
 
- Experience working in faith, spiritual, or service-based organizations; previous leadership experience preferred.
 
- Ability to support various institutional priorities, including University and Campus Wellness mission, vision, and goals.
 
- Understanding and support of diverse viewpoints, including support of various religions, faiths, and spiritual beliefs.
 
- Excellent organizational, communication, and servantship skills.
 
- Leadership and support at individual and group levels required.
 
- Ability to collaborate across departments and work well with others required.
 
- Ability to effectively address and manage dissension or conflicts between individuals or groups.
 
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including occasional hours outside of normal business operations.
 
- Creative mindset that allows for entrepreneurial thinking, continuous improvement, and expansion or diversity of programs.
 
- Involves a mix of office work and active engagement in program delivery.
